For our Amsterdam, Westzaan, and Dongen locations, we are looking for a new family member to support us as a General Maintenance Operator..

We are looking for someone with all-round technical knowledge. While electrical engineering is the primary focus, general knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus. You may have experience with control panels, conveyor belt maintenance, and gearboxes. You may have completed training for this and hold or be willing to obtain certifications for circuit construction.

You have completed electrical or mechanical engineering training for this position and are eager to develop your skills.

Your tasks

You will be responsible for identifying and resolving minor mechanical and electrical faults. Major faults will be recorded with the supplier and either addressed independently or the supplier will be responsible for resolving the issue. You will also be involved in preventive maintenance and compiling technical documentation and a logbook. Finally, safety is a key priority, and you will document this in work procedures and instructions.

You will be responsible for the three Vollers Holland locations and will regularly visit them, focusing on Vollers Holland in Westzaan.

Your profile

  • You have an electrical engineering degree (MBO, Electrical Switching and NEN 3140) or are willing to obtain additional certifications.
  • A mechanical engineering degree or experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics.
  • Experience developing procedures and safety regulations.
